Our team is here to help you every step of the way through your rehabilitation. We provide a comforting and supportive environment where each case is individually assessed with the greatest care.
An initial in-depth consultation involves:
- A full medical history
- A thorough physical examination
- Discussion of findings
- Proposed treatment plan with realistic goals based on what the client would like to achieve
Further treatment at the clinic may include manual therapies, such as: acupuncture, manipulation, mobilization, massage and electrotherapy, e.g. ultrasound and interferential. Rehabilitation exercises may also be recommended and Physio4Life has a private gym were these can be demonstrated or supervised by the physiotherapist if necessary.
Referrals for imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI scan), or to other healthcare professionals may be required in any stage of the above process.
What to Bring
Documents
It is important to provide us with referral letters, scans and any previous reports. This will assist the physiotherapist to get a thorough understanding of your case history.
Clothing
Please bring shorts and a t-shirt, so that you can move freely and the therapist can easily observe your problem area. Training shoes may also be appropriate, if your injury is related to running for instance.
